On the morning of February 22nd, the signing ceremony for the cooperation between Hefei University of Technology and Anhui Hualin Magnetoelectric Industry, University, and Research Institute, as well as the unveiling ceremony of the joint laboratory, was grandly held at the Tianchang Municipal People's Government. Over 30 people attended the ceremony, including Wu Yucheng, Vice President of Hefei University of Technology, Wang Jun, Vice President of the Research Institute, Jin Weijia, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC of Chuzhou City and Secretary of the Tianchang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chen Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the Tianchang Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor, Zeng Guohui, Deputy Mayor, as well as leaders from departments such as Science and Technology, Finance, and Economic and Information Technology, and the head of Wanshou Town.

The ceremony was presided over by Vice Mayor Zeng Guohui. Huang Yaxiang, Chairman of Hualin Magnetoelectric, introduced the company's situation. Vice President Wu Yucheng and Mr. Shen Hongjiang, the legal representative of Hualin Magnetoelectric, signed the "Agreement on Jointly Establishing an Electromagnetic Absorption Materials and Devices Research Institute between Hefei University of Technology and Hualin Magnetoelectric". They expressed that Hefei University of Technology will fully support Tianchang's industrial innovation by initiating the "Tianchang Model" of innovative industry-university-research cooperation, starting with the establishment of a joint laboratory. They will actively carry out talent introduction, new product development, resource integration, and other work to drive the development of Tianchang's leading industries such as instrumentation, electronic information, and magnetic materials. Secretary Jin and Vice President Wu Yucheng jointly unveiled the "Hefei University of Technology-Hualin Magnetoelectric Joint Laboratory for Electromagnetic Absorption Materials and Devices". Deputy Mayor Chen Jun required relevant departments and Wanshou Town to do a good job in docking, service, and policy implementation, fully leveraging the resource advantages of Hefei University of Technology to build the research institute and laboratory into a provincial or ministerial-level innovation platform, develop nationally advanced magnetic core products, and make Tianchang a national production base for the soft magnetic industry. 
Secretary Jin delivered an important speech. He expressed his deep gratitude to Hefei University of Technology (HUST) for its confidence in and support for Tianchang, as well as for its care and assistance to local enterprises. Secretary Jin highlighted that the province and Chuzhou City prioritize scientific and technological innovation in their development strategies. Tianchang boasts a solid industrial foundation, yet it relies heavily on traditional industries, making it urgently in need of university support. He advocated for collaboration between universities, governments, and enterprises to facilitate industry-university-research cooperation and promote industrial transformation and upgrading. Secretary Jin stated that Tianchang aims to become a friendly partner for HUST, both in terms of academic-industrial collaboration and university-enterprise cooperation, to better serve scientific and technological innovation, enterprises, and the economy.
