How to identify the color and material of the magnetic ring and the waveform?

Does the color and material of the magnetic ring matter? What should I pay attention to when using a magnetic ring with high magnetic permeability?

Most of the magnetic rings must be painted. Generally, the manganese zinc ring is painted green, and the iron powder core ring uses two colors to distinguish the raw materials. Commonly used are -2 (red/transparent), -8 (yellow/red), -18 (green/ Red), -26 (yellow/white) and -52 (green/blue), sendust is generally black and so on.

The color of the manganese-zinc magnetic ring coating is not much related to the raw material, but the use of different colors for metal alloys or iron powder cores distinguishes the raw materials. When using the high-permeability ring, pay attention to selecting the appropriate wire diameter, the winding can not damage the coating, and the winding should not be too tight; otherwise, the appropriate operating temperature and operating frequency should be selected.

The color of the sintered core is not necessarily related to the color of the paint sprayed later. There are just some correspondences established by conventions. For example, green-high conductivity; two-color-iron powder core; black + printing-sendust and so on.

The color of the magnetic ring is customary. If the customer has no special requirements, the factory will match the color according to the manufacturer's standards and requirements. For products with high permeability, the higher the permeability, the lower the temperature may be experienced, but the higher the inductance, the fewer the number of turns, and the larger the wire diameter.
